Full description Take a deep breath of the fresh, pine-scented mountain air as you approach the stunning Bow Falls. This scenic ride also takes you past the renowned Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, one of Canada’s most impeccably maintained courses, offering picturesque views along the way.

As you continue along the edge of the golf course, you’ll cross the waters of the Spray River once more before a gentle climb up Sulphur Mountain. The trail winds through a charming wooded residential area before returning to the corrals.

The highlight of this adventure is the unique experience of crossing the Spray River. On warm days, your horse may splash water onto its belly to cool off, adding an extra element of fun and excitement to your journey. This ride provides a truly unforgettable way to explore Banff’s natural beauty and iconic landmarks. Additional Information Please be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the departure time of the tour. Please meet at the Banff Springs Corrals on Spray Avenue in Banff. The corrals are located before the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and behind the tennis courts, and are approximately a five minute drive or a 20 minute walk from downtown BanffThere is no parking on site for the Corrals. You can either parking at the Fairmont Hotel, road side or park in town and walk up or get the Roam Transit Bus 2This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants, please call the day prior to confirm the tour. 1 hour rides maximum 12 pax per departureRiders must be at least 8 years oldRiders aged 17 and under must be accompanied on the ride by a legal guardianRiders must weigh less than 230lbs / 104kg, fully dressed (your weight will need to be verified on our scales). Riders must be in good physical conditionAll adults must sign a waiver prior to the ride. A waiver must also be completed by the legal guardian of any child under the age of 18Photo ID may be required for identity verificationEach rider must be able to speak and understand fluent EnglishPregnant ladies must have a doctor’s note to rideRefunds are not issued if guests are disqualified from riding due to not meeting these requirementsYou must wear sturdy, closed toed shoes enclosed to the ankle and long pants are best for riding. Please note that sandals of any kind are not permitted. Helmets are provided and are mandatory for all riders and mosquito repellent is highly recommendedHorseback rides run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Please do not wear a rain poncho, as they can flap in the wind and spook the horsesNo experience is necessary and if you’ve never been riding before then we’ll be sure to pair you with the perfect horse so you can enjoy a comfortable ride. Our guides will also provide a brief riding instruction prior to the rideGuests cannot bring a backpack on the horse. Bags / belongings can be kept at the barns till guests returnWe reserve the right to limit the availability of horseback riding due to anything which may in our judgement pose a threat to the health and safety of either horse, rider, fellow riders or guidesSafety is our priority on the trail and we all depend on each other to be alert and tuned in to everyone’s safety and well-being. We have a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding drugs and alcohol. Any guest suspected of intoxication or impairment upon arrival will not be allowed to ride and their fare will NOT be refundedTips are not expected, but are certainly appreciated. If you think your guide did a wonderful job and would like to indicate that with a tip, it will be graciously acceptedBy participating in the tour, guests are acknowledging that they understand that we may take video and photographs of them during their tour.
