Full description
Ride along the scenic base of Sulphur Mountain to a mouthwatering cowboy BBQ cookout at the rustic 3 Mile Cabin. Your journey begins with a leisurely ride along the Bow River, where you can take in the stunning scenery and keep an eye out for local wildlife.
Midway through your ride, you’ll arrive at 3 Mile Cabin to experience genuine Western hospitality and savor a hearty meal. Enjoy a delicious BBQ feast featuring steak cooked to perfection, baked potatoes, cowboy baked beans, and Caesar salad. The recently updated BBQ area provides a welcoming space with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying your meal amidst the beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
Before indulging in your feast, work up an appetite with some fun Western-style games like lassoing and horseshoes. This adventure is suitable for riders aged eight and up, making it a great choice for families looking for a unique experience.
This ride is also perfect for families and groups, as it offers the chance for horseback riders to meet up with those arriving by wagon at 3 Mile Cabin, where everyone can gather to enjoy the cowboy BBQ together. Experience the authentic flavors and spirit of the Wild West on this unforgettable Banff adventure!
