Full description Get ready for a day full of splendour and discovery as we explore three of the Loire Valley's most impressive châteaux: Chambord, Cheverny and Chenonceau. Meet at the Tours tourist office 15 minutes before departure, where you will be met by your driver.

Depart at 9.30 AM for a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Chambord, following the picturesque road along the banks of the Loire River, with spectacular views of the châteaux of Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire and Blois along the way. We will marvel at the views of Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire and Blois along the way.

Our first destination will be the majestic Château de Chambord, where we will enjoy a visit and lunch lasting approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Chambord is the largest château in the Loire Valley, with 440 rooms, 265 fireplaces and a monumental double helix staircase. Set in the middle of a 13,000-acre park surrounded by a 32 km long wall, this majestic 156-metre long building is a symbol of French Renaissance architecture.

After lunch, we will depart at 1 PM for a 25-minute drive to Cheverny. The Château de Cheverny, built between 1604 and 1634, is remarkable for its classical white stone façade and its exceptional English-style garden. Still inhabited by the same family, this château is an exception in the Loire Valley thanks to the unity of both its architecture and its rich interior decoration.

We will then drive for 50 minutes to Chenonceau. The Château de Chenonceau, the most famous and most visited château in the Loire Valley, was built on the Cher river in a natural setting where water and gardens blend harmoniously. This castle witnessed an incredible history full of romance and unexpected events thanks to figures such as Catherine Briçonnet, Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Medici and Louise de Lorraine.

After our visit to Chenonceau, we will drive for 30 minutes back to Tours.

We will return to Tours around 5.45 PM, where your driver will drop you off at the Tours tourist office.
