Full description Get ready for a day full of splendour and discovery as we explore four of the Loire Valley's most iconic châteaux: Azay le Rideau, Villandry, Ussé and Langeais. Meet at the Tours tourist office 15 minutes before departure, where you will be met by your driver.

We will depart at 9.30 AM for a 30 minutes drive west of Tours to Azay le Rideau.

Our first destination will be the magnificent Château de Azay le Rideau, a Renaissance jewel. This castle, built in 1518 by Gilles Berthelot, a great financier of the crown, is considered one of the most elegant in the Loire Valley due to its pure French Renaissance architecture.

After our visit to Azay le Rideau, we will drive for 15 minutes to Villandry, passing through vineyards and apple orchards.

The Château and Gardens of Villandry will be our next destination, where we will enjoy a visit and a lunch break lasting approximately 3 hours. Villandry is known for its impressive Renaissance gardens, considered the most beautiful in France, which combine the creative genius of Italian gardeners with the ornamental tradition of French gardeners.

After lunch, we will depart at 2.15 PM for a 30 minutes drive to Ussé, following the banks of the Indre river.

The Château de Ussé, known as the castle of Sleeping Beauty, will fascinate us with the complexity of its architecture and its beautiful terraced gardens designed by Le Nôtre. This castle inspired the famous tale of Sleeping Beauty by Charles Perrault.

Then, we will drive for 20 minutes to Langeais, along a picturesque road along the Loire river.

The Château de Langeais, with its military appearance and its history linked to the marriage of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany, will impress us with the cohesion between its interior and exterior decoration, which will take us back to the 15th century.

Finally, we will make our way back to Tours, which will take about 30 minutes.

We will return to Tours at around 5.45 PM, where your driver will drop you off at the Tours tourist office.
