Descrição geral After the pick-up, we will go to the pier of Los Cristianos to leave by ferry to San Sebastián de la Gomera (capital of the island), from where we will begin to ascend to the Garajonay National Park, a forest whose extension exceeds 10% of the total of the island. It was declared a National Park in 1981 and a World Heritage Site in 1986 by UNESCO. In 2012, the whole island was declared a Biosphere Reserve. It houses the best known example in the Old World of the laurel forest, a prehistoric natural treasure. A relic of the Tertiary, formed by laurel, heather, willows, vinatigo, etc., which make up the Canary Monteverde. After this visit, we will continue through the viewpoint of La Degollada de Peraza to enjoy a panoramic view.

Then we will continue through La Palmita, crossing the National Park until we reach the villages of Las Rosas and Agulo, where we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant where we will have a demonstration of the typical "silbo gomero", a whistled language practiced by some inhabitants of the Canary Islands to communicate through the ravines.
