Descrição geral We will depart at 8:30 am from the port of Los Cristianos by ferry to arrive at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma at 11:00 am. Once arrived, we will start the excursion leaving free time in the capital so you can discover some of the most emblematic places such as:
- El Barco de la Virgen: it is a reproduction of the Santa Maria on board of which Christopher Columbus discovered America and was built in memory of the sailors from La Palma who left from here with sailing ships made from the wood of the island's mountains. It houses the naval museum with naval charts and reproductions of some of these ships made on the island.
- The Castle of Santa Catalina: it was one of the most important in Spain on the route to the Americas.
- The Balconies: they are one of the best and most beautiful sets of balconies or overhangs that are preserved in the Canary Islands. It is necessary to emphasize the double balconies that were built to ventilate the houses.

We will comfortably get back on the bus to make the next stop at the Mirador de la Concepción, which is located in the highest part of the Caldereta Volcano (declared a natural area) to observe the crater and the capital of the Isla Bonita.

We will resume our way to the Túnel de la Cumbre, where we will be able to appreciate how the vegetation changes on the island, to then reach the southwest and enter the area affected by the Tajogaite volcano in the Cumbre Vieja Natural Park.

The next stop will be in the neighborhood of Tacande, where we will have a first view of the new volcano and then go towards the municipality of Tazacorte, while observing the youngest lava flows in Spain.

Lunch will be served in a restaurant on the seafront, in Puerto de Tazacorte at 13:30 approximately, from where we will be able to see the fajana or lava delta, produced by the volcanic eruption.

Then, we will go up through the municipality of El Paso to make a stop at the Mirador de la Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia in the neighborhood of Tajuya, from where the last volcano of the Canary Islands can be seen at a distance of 2 km.

The return to the pier of Santa Cruz de La Palma will be around 16:30 hrs to leave at 17:00 hrs and arrive at Puerto de los Cristianos at 19:30 hrs.
