After picking you up from your hotel, boat, or train station in Luxor at the scheduled time, we will head to the western bank of the city, where the famous necropolises are located.
The first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, an impressive necropolis with over 60 tombs carved into the rocks. This place was the resting place for renowned pharaohs such as Thutmose I, and later became the burial site for historical figures like Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Ramses III, and Seti I. During the visit, we will explore some of the most spectacular tombs, which contain valuable paintings and hieroglyphs that tell stories of the life and afterlife of the ancient pharaohs.
After leaving the Valley of the Kings, we will head to the Valley of the Queens, where the tombs of the queens and princesses of the New Kingdom pharaohs rest. Among the tombs we can visit is that of Nefertari, the favored wife of Pharaoh Ramses II (entry to the tomb of Nefertari is not included).
The next stop will be the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only woman to rule Egypt during an extensive period. Designed by architect Senenmut, the Temple of Hatshepsut is unique, with part of it carved into the rock and the other in the form of terraces.
On our way back to Luxor, we will make a final stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III, relaxing while looking at the Nile and the rising sun.
The tour will end back at the starting point after approximately 6 hours of exploration.
