General Description The classic tour from Mendoza to the Chilean border is a journey that can be done year-round, traveling along paved roads that follow the Mendoza River. Along the way, you can admire the Potrerillos Dam and make a technical stop in Uspallata, a town with a rich indigenous Huarpe history.

At 167 km from Mendoza, we reach one of the region's major ski resorts, which operates from June to August, and is perfect for adventure tourism during the rest of the year.

Further ahead, we arrive at Puente del Inca, a natural formation created by the erosion of the Las Cuevas River, with nearby thermal waters and the Mountaineers' Cemetery. A short distance from the border, a natural viewpoint offers stunning views of the majestic Aconcagua Mountain.

From the International Route, it’s possible to take a detour towards the Horcones Lagoon and Aconcagua Provincial Park, or continue to Las Cuevas, a European-style town located at 3,200 meters. If weather conditions allow, the road to Cristo Redentor, at 4,200 meters, opens from January to March, symbolizing peace between Argentina and Chile.
