General Description On this excursion, we will immerse ourselves in the City of Mendoza and the General San Martín Park, two essential landmarks of the province. We will start at the Foundational Area, visiting the ruins of the San Francisco Church, where the first city of Mendoza was located, destroyed by an earthquake over 300 years ago. Then, we will explore the New City, featuring Independence Square, the Civic Center, and the Memorial to the Flag of the Army of the Andes.

Next, we will tour the General San Martín Park, designed by Carlos Thays in 1896. This 307-hectare green space is home to over 300 plant species from different continents. Among its main attractions are the majestic gates, the Marly Horses, the Continents Fountain, the Regatas Lake, the Hipólito Yrigoyen Rose Garden, and the World Cup Stadium.

Finally, we will visit the Cerro de la Gloria, where the Monument to the Army of the Andes stands, offering panoramic views of the city and park.
