In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or meeting point (pickup from hotels on the Costa del Sol). Once you arrive in Antequera, your local guide will start by showing you the burial chambers: the dolmens of Menga and Viera. Then, head to the city centre while you listen to stories about Antequera from your local guide. Discover its importance in the Middle Ages and in contemporary times. Visit one of its main squares, where you can see the Roman baths, the collegiate church and the Alcazaba.

Antequera has an extensive archaeological and architectural heritage, highlighted by the dolmens of Menga, Viera and El Romeral, as well as numerous churches, convents and palaces from different periods and styles.

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel at the agreed time, located on the Costa del Sol. Then you will head towards Antequera. You will start with a visit to the complex of dolmens, megalithic tombs called tumuli, a form of long gallery dolmen dating back to 3000 BC. It is impressive to discover how these structures were built and to learn about the importance of astronomy at that time.

You will then continue the tour by visiting the Alcazaba of Antequera. A fortress erected in the 14th century to counter the Christian advance from the north, built on Roman ruins. It is rectangular in shape, with two towers, and its keep is considered one of the largest in Moorish Al-Andalus. Next, visit the 16th century Renaissance Collegiate Church while listening to stories about the town's medieval legends from your guide.

Afterwards, discover the Roman baths while the guide explains their different parts and take a break for refreshments.
