Full description Discover the historical heritage of Andalusia on a private 8-hour tour starting in Casares, one of the Pueblos Blancos, on the west coast of the Costa del Sol. Receive personalised attention from a private guide as you visit the highlights of Casares, such as the birthplace of Blas Infante, the ruins of the Moorish castle, griffon vultures, Payoya goats, and more. Stroll through the narrow streets of Casares towards the Moorish castle and visit the local crafts museum. Then stroll through Estepona's town centre. The old town retains the charm of a small town, with beautiful squares and streets, each with its own colour scheme. After enjoying some free time, return to the hotel.

Casares is a beautiful village located only 15 km from Estepona. It is the birthplace of the Father of Andalusia, Blas Infante, and is also home to griffon vultures. Admire its beautiful scenery and narrow whitewashed streets.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel on the west coast of the Costa del Sol and driven to the village of Casares.

Once you arrive in Casares, head to the birthplace of Blas Infante. Discover who this important figure for Andalusia was and admire a typical 19th century house.

Then, stroll around its main square, where you will find the church of San Sebastian and the fountain of Carlos III, and walk through the old and upper part of the town while you listen to stories, legends and important facts about the village from your guide. There you will admire the remains of the Moorish wall and castle, the cliffs where you can enjoy beautiful views and also spot griffon vultures, the Blas Infante Cultural Centre built on the site of a 16th century church and the charming cemetery with its whitewashed niches.

On the way back to Marbella, we will stop in the town of Estepona, which has become an important beach resort due to its beautiful beaches. However, the old town retains the charm of a small town, inviting you to take a stroll through the small streets, many of them pedestrianised. Most of the houses were built in the 18th and 19th centuries, and are located in the more than 100 streets and squares that have been improved and beautified with cobblestones, sewers and flower pots. Each street has its own colour scheme and local residents take pride in their attractive streets.
