Enjoy a whole day exploring every corner of the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enter historic mansions and colonial convents, visit markets, parks and museums.
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to go to the historical area. We will start in one of the first facilities of the first university in America, we will continue towards Plaza San Martin and we will walk through Jr. De la Unión, a pedestrian street where we will observe houses that have been declared heritage of the nation. Also on our tour we will visit the "Municipal Theater" and the "Segura Theater", two of the most emblematic and traditional theaters in the city, important in the city and we will continue the road until we reach the "Plaza Mayor".
Then we will visit the "Casa Osambela", a mansion dating from the eighteenth century with very fine architecture. "Convent of Santo Domingo", where we can climb the tower and enjoy a spectacular view of Lima. "Casa de Aliaga", a house belonging to the same family since the time of the viceroyalty. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and take a short break.
In the afternoon we will visit the “San Francisco Convent” and the “Parque de la Muralla” with a view of the Rímac River and the “San Cristóbal” hill. Then we will visit the "The Church of San Pedro", impressive for all its altars in gold leaf and we will walk through the famous balconies of the Torre Tagle Palace. Finally, we will walk through Chinatown, where Chinese immigrants settled in the mid-1800s. Afterwards, we will transfer to the hotel in our comfortable van.
