The trip begins in Lima, with a first stop at km 77.5 to enjoy a traditional Peruvian breakfast at the renowned DelPino Restaurant, where you can taste coffee, pork rinds and other local delicacies.
We continue to Caral, the oldest city in America, with more than 5,000 years of history. Contemporary with ancient Mesopotamia and the pyramids of Egypt, this archaeological site reveals the vestiges of an advanced civilization, with impressive pyramids and ceremonial structures.
The route continues to Huaura, where we will visit the historic house-museum that houses the Balcony of Independence, the place where the liberator San Martín first proclaimed Peru's independence.
To complete the experience, we explore the Lomas de Lachay, a protected natural area of 5,070 hectares, famous for its humid ecosystem in the middle of the coastal desert. This biodiversity refuge is home to a wide variety of native flora and fauna, offering a unique landscape that changes with the seasons.
