Full description The trip starts in the northeastern area of Bogotá, traveling through the eastern hills until reaching the town of Guatavita La Nueva, and from there, skirting the Tominé dam, the vehicle ascends to the entrance of the park. There begins a walk to reach the place where the Guatavita lagoon is located, whose center of attraction is the ceremony of the Leyenda del Dorado where the rituals performed by the natives to their gods were staged by bathing their bodies in gold and submerging themselves in the lagoon to offer their most valuable treasures. At the end of the tour through the Laguna de Guatavita, we will go to the municipality of Zipaquirá, where we will enjoy a typical lunch. After lunch, we will enter the Salt Cathedral, a religious and catholic temple conditioned in the tunnels that are no longer exploited from a salt mine. You can admire the tunnels where the Via Crucis is a work of the most complex conceptual art. Return to the city of Bogotá.
