Full description This is a day you will long remember! Enter the French Kings’ Valley and indulge in their famous Art de Vivre by visiting 2 must-see castles: Château de Chambord and Château de Chenonceau.

Our friendly expert guide will pick you up at your hotel and stay with you all day long to share his passion for the region and French history. He/She will make this trip back in time a fun and captivating experience.

But for now, off to Chambord! More than a castle, this work of art is a glorious historical place that will take you to the heart of the Loire Valley! Start with a coffee break in Chambord Park, with the castle right in front of your eyes. Unforgettable!

Then, follow your tour guide who will select for you the most emblematic rooms to visit and share with you memorable anecdotes. He/she will point to hidden details of interest, and will show you to breathtaking views of the castle. So get ready to travel back in time of French Renaissance!

For lunch we take you off the beaten path. It’s high time to enjoy tasty seasonal food, together with local wines of course! Sitting in a Château and hosted by the French Countess who actually lives there permanently, this lunch in a private castle’s dining room will be a true experience of French Art de Vivre. (Lunch not included, on request and depending on availabilities)

And the day is not over yet! Let's head in direction of Château de Chenonceau, on of the most visited historical monument in France. Admire this unique castle built on a bridge across the Cher River. With your guide, stroll through the gorgeously-manicured gardens à la Française named after the famous ladies who lived in the castle: ""Catherine de Médicis"" and ""Diane de Poitiers"". Take your time to appreciate the refined architecture and feminine influence that prevails in each room of this renowned castle, all decorated with beautiful antiques and the most divine fresh flower arrangements.

After this exceptional visit, your tour-guide will offer you to share a delightful aperitif with local products in a secret little corner of the park, with the most striking view of Château de Chenonceau, before driving you back to your hotel around 6:00 pm.
