Descrição Geral Embark on an unforgettable journey up one of Banff’s most iconic peaks, Sulphur Mountain. This half-day adventure begins with a ride two-thirds up the mountain, offering stunning views and a memorable experience for all skill levels.

Start your journey at the renowned Fairmont Banff Springs Corral, making it a convenient option for Fairmont guests. From there, you’ll visit the famous Rimrock Resort Hotel before crossing the lively Spray River. Take a short break by the river, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The ride continues down to the valley and up Sulphur Mountain from the Spray River Valley, showcasing breathtaking views along the way. You’ll also pass by the roaring Bow Falls, crossing the river once again before heading back. This extended version of the Spray River Ride offers a comprehensive experience of Banff’s rugged landscapes.

While suitable for all riding levels, beginners may experience some saddle soreness due to the length of the ride. The river crossing is straightforward, but if any riders are nervous, this should be taken into consideration before booking. A scenic rest stop is included, allowing you to dismount and take in the incredible views. Enjoy a snack of the day and relax as you soak in the stunning natural beauty of Banff National Park on this remarkable mountain ride. Informação Adicional Please be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the departure time of the tour. Please meet at the Banff Springs Corrals on Spray Avenue in Banff. The corrals are located before the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and behind the tennis courts, and are approximately a five minute drive or a 20 minute walk from downtown BanffThere is no parking on site for the Corrals. You can either parking at the Fairmont Hotel, road side or park in town and walk up or get the Roam Transit Bus 2This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants, please call the day prior to confirm the tourRiders must be at least 8 years oldRiders aged 17 and under must be accompanied on the ride by a legal guardianRiders must weigh less than 230lbs / 104kg, fully dressed (your weight will need to be verified on our scales). Riders must be in good physical conditionAll adults must sign a waiver prior to the ride. A waiver must also be completed by the legal guardian of any child under the age of 18Photo ID may be required for identity verificationPregnant ladies must have a doctor’s note to rideEach rider must be able to speak and understand fluent EnglishRefunds are not issued if guests are disqualified from riding due to not meeting these requirementsYou must wear sturdy, closed toed shoes enclosed to the ankle and long pants are best for riding. Please note that sandals of any kind are not permitted. Helmets are provided and are mandatory for all riders and mosquito repellent is highly recommendedHorseback rides run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Please do not wear a rain poncho, as they can flap in the wind and spook the horsesNo experience is necessary and if you’ve never been riding before then we’ll be sure to pair you with the perfect horse so you can enjoy a comfortable ride. Our guides will also provide a brief riding instruction prior to the rideGuests cannot bring a backpack on the horse. Bags / belongings can be kept at the barns till guests returnWe reserve the right to limit the availability of horseback riding due to anything which may in our judgement pose a threat to the health and safety of either horse, rider, fellow riders or guidesSafety is our priority on the trail and we all depend on each other to be alert and tuned in to everyone’s safety and well-being. We have a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding drugs and alcohol.
