Explore the mysteries of the Slaughter Stone and see the many burial mounds of the beaker people, before continuing the journey across Salisbury Plains towards Bath.
Bath, a World Heritage city, is noted for its Georgian splendour, with charming crescents, terraces and classical architecture. Here you'll have time to wander, explore and enjoy the local shops, before embarking on a scenic drive through the Cotswolds. As we head north, we pass through the heart of this region, famous for its beautiful rural scenery, with open fields bounded by dry stone walls and bustling market towns with imposing Gothic churches.
Finally, we reach Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the greatest writer in the English language, and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. This charming market town, set in the heart of the English countryside, is crossed by a gentle river that runs alongside the beautiful Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried. You will visit the classroom where Shakespeare was educated in the 1570s, with an exclusive private tour and a fun lesson to complete this enriching experience.
