Our full-day tour begins in Burford, a town where the majestic high street displays a wide variety of Cotswolds stonework. Here, you'll have time to explore the charming tea houses and shops before continuing south to Bibury, described by William Morris as ‘the prettiest village in the Cotswolds’.
Upon arrival in Bibury, lunch awaits at the historic Swan Hotel, situated in the heart of the village overlooking the River Coln. This 17th century former inn, once a carriage inn, offers delicious traditional cuisine accompanied by a select range of fine ales and wines. You will enjoy a two-course lunch that perfectly complements the beauty and serenity of the surroundings.
In the afternoon, you'll take a leisurely drive through the northern Cotswolds, passing through picturesque villages before arriving at Stow-on-the-Wold, one of the most iconic places in this region. Here, your guide will take you on a short walk around the village, sharing stories and details about its rich history before returning to the coach for the return journey to London.
