The towns of Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar and Paúl do Mar are renowned for their outstanding production of sugar cane and bananas. Immerse yourself in the authenticity of these places as you explore their rich agricultural tradition and enjoy the coastal beauty.

We continue our journey to Ponta do Pargo, where you will have the opportunity to admire one of the most emblematic lighthouses, located in the westernmost part of the island. Here, in Ponta do Pargo, we will stop for lunch. You will have several options of bars, restaurants or cafes to choose from, indulging in the local gastronomy while enjoying the panoramic views.

In the picturesque village of Calheta, you will discover one of the two artificially created golden sand beaches in Madeira. This coastal area invites you to relax on the warm sands and enjoy the surroundings.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the Engenho da Calheta, a sugar cane factory. Here, you can marvel at the process of sugar cane rum production, immersing yourself in the distillery and learning about the history behind this island tradition.
