Full description The Rabaçal Valley is one of Mother Nature's great masterpieces. Descending from the plateau of Paul da Serra, we reach the Rabaçal guesthouse and from there we head towards the Risco waterfall.

We continue descending towards the levada das 25 Fontes until we reach a small lake. This lake is located at the bottom of a cliff from where 25 natural springs flow into the small lake.

We will return by a different route, passing through a tunnel that transports water to the south side of the island.
This hike is a levada of difficulty 3 (Moderate), with a distance of about 11 kilometres and a walking time of approximately 4 hours. It is a fascinating experience that will immerse you in the natural majesty of Madeira, exploring waterfalls, lakes and unique trails.
