The historic center of the city of Granada is the meeting point of the other districts that make up the city. Its inhabitants began to establish it in the eleventh century, when it became Arab commercial district of the city and, after the Reconquest of Granada in 1492, was the place they chose to settle early Christians.
It is therefore a space that blends two cultures, two stories, it is not uncommon to find next to an old shelter for traders Arab period, or granary, historicist buildings of the nineteenth century.
Stand out as exceptional points of this visit the two great monuments erected in the sixteenth century as the new center of city life: the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel.
The first mixture of styles and one of the highest cathedrals in Europe. While the second point becomes indispensable as the place where the remains of the Catholic Monarchs.
A jewel of Gothic Elizabethan.
