Full description Embark on an exciting day of exploration with our day trip from Paris to the splendour of Bruges, also known as the charming "Venice of the North", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Nestled between serene canals, the city of Bruges has jealously preserved its medieval charm, guarding in its heart architectural and historical treasures that will transport you to a past of splendour.

The trip starts with an early departure at 7:15 am from our agency in the heart of Paris. From here, you will embark on a journey that will take you to the north of Belgium, where the jewel of Bruges awaits (estimated arrival around 11am).

The excursion awakens your senses with a guided walking tour that plunges you into the very heart of this historic medieval centre, a living testimony to the brick Gothic style. During a captivating walk of about 1 hour and a half, you will marvel at the grandeur of the Grand-Place, an epicentre pulsing with the life of the city. The majesty of the tower overlooking the Market Place will leave a lasting impression on your mind, and the cathedral of Notre-Dame, dating from the 13th century, stands as a monument to the passage of time. But history doesn't stop there: the Benedictine monastery The Beguinage will transport you to a world of contemplation and spirituality, and the imposing town hall will reaffirm the grandeur of Bruges at every turn.

In the summer months, from April to October, you will have the opportunity to embark on a short but unforgettable cruise along the city's canals. From the serenity of the waters, you can gaze at the magnificent Flemish houses that seem to emerge from fairy tales and experience the peaceful and mystical atmosphere that envelops Bruges.

Afterwards, you are free to enjoy the city at your own pace. A lunch in a local restaurant will invite you to indulge in regional specialities, such as the famous mussels, tempting fries, rich Flemish charcoal and irresistible waffles. But the feast is not limited to food, as you will have the opportunity to discover the various museums that populate the city, explore Flemish art and local crafts, and indulge in the exquisite Belgian chocolates that have conquered palates all over the world.

The day comes to an end with departure from Bruges, estimated at around 4:30 p.m., to bring you back to Paris. The day will end around 9pm, when you will return to the agency where this unforgettable journey began.
