Here, you'll get an up-close look at how the iconic wooden clogs are made in an artisan workshop and learn about the production of the famous Dutch cheese at a local farm, where you can also sample some of the region's best cheeses.

The day continues in Volendam, a picturesque fishing village with a lively harbour and a welcoming atmosphere. Volendam is famous for its cultural heritage, which is reflected in the traditional costumes still worn by some of the inhabitants.
