Free time to stroll and discover innovative agricultural practices where costumed interpreters showcase (April through October) original and reconstructed buildings that depict life on this 18th-century plantation, George and Martha Washington's 1831 tomb. Enter the D.W. Reynolds Museum, where you will discover GW's legacy, enjoy the 4D Revolutionary War theater, and conclude your visit in the gift shop.
On the way back, you will explore Old Town Alexandria, dating back to 1749, and point out relevant historical events and overlooked points of interest that travelers typically miss.
