Descripción general Embark on an enchanting journey today as we depart for Erice uptown. The medieval town of Erice, steeped in history, was a significant religious site associated with the goddess Venus. Stroll through its ancient streets and immerse yourself in the world-renowned homemade pastry shops, celebrated for their marzipan candies and other delicacies like almond and pistachio pastries.

Upon arrival, take an independent walk through the city center, with a recommended stop at a local pastry shop to indulge in the flavors of Sicilian sweets. Relish a delightful light lunch at a local Olive Oil producer Farmhouse, featuring a tasting of mixed local products.

In the afternoon, our journey continues along the scenic Salt Way Road, where we'll admire the beautiful Saltpans. Witness the traditional production of sea salt, following the ancient Phoenician tradition preserved through the centuries. Our next destination is Marsala, known as the Arab "Marsa Allah" or Harbor of God, renowned worldwide for its exquisite wine. Marsala Wine, originating from the western lands of Sicily and named after the town, holds the distinction of being the oldest Italian DOC wine, boasting an average alcohol content of about 18 degrees.
