Our itinerary begins early in the morning with a visit to the iconic Windsor Castle, a living testament to over 900 years of royal history. Standing majestically over the River Thames, this castle has been home to 40 monarchs since the time of William the Conqueror in the 11th century. Over the centuries, each ruler has left his mark, helping to make Windsor the largest and oldest continuously inhabited castle in the world.
We will be among the first to enter the castle, allowing us to explore its wonders at our leisure. Within the impressive walls, you will discover St George's Chapel, a splendid example of English Gothic architecture, known for hosting royal weddings and being the final resting place of several British monarchs, including Henry VIII. The luxurious state flats, richly decorated with tapestries, paintings and historic furnishings, reveal the opulence and grandeur with which kings and queens lived throughout the centuries.
After our visit to the castle, we will head to the picturesque city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath is a jewel of Georgian architecture, famous for its elegant crescents, terraces and buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Our arrival in Bath will be followed by a panoramic tour allowing you to admire its beauty from every angle. During your free time, you can visit the impressive Bath Abbey, an example of Perpendicular Gothic architecture, or take a walk across the iconic Pulteney Bridge, which offers spectacular views of the River Avon and its cascading waterfall.
If you decide to upgrade your experience, we recommend a visit to the legendary Roman Baths, a complex of public baths and a Roman temple built almost 2,000 years ago. This site, which sits above Britain's only natural hot spring, allows you to walk around the main thermal pool, paved with original Roman stones, and admire the statues and architecture that have survived the test of time.
Finally, our journey takes us to Stonehenge, the world's most famous prehistoric monument. This enigmatic circle of stones weighing over 40 tonnes, located on the vast Salisbury Plain, has been a place of spiritual worship and debate for almost 5,000 years. As you gaze upon Stonehenge, you'll wonder about its mysteries: was it a lunar observatory, a solar temple or an elaborate burial ground? Who were the people who carved and erected these colossal stones? Immerse yourself in history and uncover for yourself the secrets of this astonishing feat of ancient engineering.
The tour will conclude with our return to London, estimated at around 20:30, leaving behind a day full of history, culture and architectural wonders. This tour offers a complete experience, allowing you to explore some of England's most iconic and mysterious sites.
