Join us on a tour of one of Spain's most fascinating and beautiful cities, Segovia. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the old town on foot, discover the majesty of Segovia Cathedral and marvel at the impressive Roman Aqueduct, one of the great architectural jewels of antiquity.
The trip starts with a bus departure from our offices, heading to Segovia, and we will enjoy a tour of approximately one hour. Upon arrival, we will head to the Plaza del Azoguejo, where you will be able to admire the majestic Roman Aqueduct up close. This ancient water system, dating back to the 2nd century, is one of the best preserved structures of its time.
Next, we will enter the old town of Segovia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the walk, we will see the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the heart of the old town, and the exterior of the imposing Cathedral of Segovia, a splendid example of Gothic architecture. We will continue exploring the exterior of the Alcázar of Segovia, a fortress dating back to the 12th century and former residence of the kings of Castile. We will also visit the interior of the Alcazar, which will transport you back to medieval times with its fascinating history.
The whole tour will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will share with us the historical and cultural secrets of the city. After this enriching experience, you will have free time to do some shopping and exploring at your own pace before returning to the starting point of the tour to take the bus back to Madrid.
