We will begin our experience directly from your hotel, heading east from San Pedro de Atacama, towards the imposing Andes Mountains. Here, we will be greeted by the majesty of the Licancabur Volcano, before continuing our journey to the Quepiaco River wetland.
Our first stop will be at the Licancabur viewpoint, where we will enjoy our breakfast, depending on wind conditions. In case it is not possible, we will do it in our next point of visit: the Quepiaco River wetland, where we will be able to appreciate the fascinating contrast between the exuberant vegetation and the imposing mountain range.
Then, we will move to the Pacana viewpoint to contemplate the panoramic views, before visiting the Pacana monks, imposing stone pillars that stand solitary in the middle of the desert.
Afterwards, we will explore the Salar de Quisquiro, located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters, where we will have time to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Finally, on our way back to San Pedro de Atacama, we will pass by the Salar de Aguas Calientes, known for its multi-colored waters, thus completing our exciting tour of this dazzling region.
