This tour combines the best of the Alsace region with the mystic Black Forest area.
We will drive to Riquewhir, one of the most picturesque villages of the Alsace Region, and enjoy a stroll through this beautiful place. Afterwards continue to Colmar, for a wine tasting and lunch. Both Riquewihr and Colmar are famous for their colourful half timbered houses in Alsacian Style. Colmar is famous as well, because Bartholdi, the father of the Statue of Liberty , was from here. In the area of Colmar we find a replica of the Statue.
In the afternoon we continue to the mystic Black forest, where the Cuckoo Clocks have their origin. We cross by Titisee, a beautiful pedestrian village located at the shores of a small Glacier Lake, and as cherry on the cake, we try the famous Black Forest Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte - one of Germany's most delicious cakes and originally from this area as well. In the late afternoon, private transfer back to Basel or Zurich.
