Full description Guide will take you for a walk through the Diocletian palace and historical streets of Split to Uje oil bar, inevitable stop in Split for gastro tourists and those who are yet to become ones where you will be introduce to the ways of tasting olive oil quality and presented with authentic Croatian wine varietals. Experience will be enriched with pairing of olive oil with fleur de sel, aged red wine vinegar, homemade bread from our oven, green olive tapenade, mixed, sheep and cow milk cheese, and fig jam.

The historic core of Split, its stunning Diocletian’s Palace, was originally built as the Roman Emperor’s retirement venue at the turn of the 4th century AD. But when the Slavs ransacked Roman Salona in the 7th century, the entire town fled to the palace, setting foundation for the wondrous city Split is today.
