Full description Embark on a delightful journey through the renowned wine regions of Saint Emilion and Pomerol on our small group wine tour from Bordeaux. With pick-up at 9:20 AM from the Bordeaux Tourist Office, get ready for a day filled with exquisite wines, stunning landscapes, and captivating history.

As we make our way to Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, indulge in the picturesque scenery of the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region, while our expert guide shares fascinating insights into Bordeaux's winemaking heritage.

Our first stop brings us to a famous Classified Growth Château in either the Pomerol or Saint Emilion appellation. Here, you'll have the privilege of tasting some of the finest wines produced in the region, known for their richness, texture, and minerality derived from the unique terroir of the plateau and côtes.

Next, we'll continue our exploration with another visit to a Classified Growth Chateau in the village, where you'll enjoy a guided tasting of wines from surrounding appellations, including Pomerol, Cotes de Castillon, Lussac, Montagne, or Saint Georges Saint Emilion.

Afterwards, immerse yourself in the charm of the UNESCO World Heritage Site village of Saint Emilion, as we embark on a short walking tour to discover its ancient romanesque churches, quaint streets, and captivating ruins. You'll also have some free time to explore the village at your own pace before we break for lunch.

Following lunch at your leisure, our journey continues with an afternoon visit and wine tasting session at a local winery in the Pomerol or Saint Emilion wine producing region. Here, you'll have the opportunity to interact with passionate winemakers, learning about Bordeaux's living cultural heritage, from grape varieties to soil geology and the art of winemaking itself.
