Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Berlin in an air-conditioned minivan. First, you will pass by Charlottenburg Palace and then head to the Olympic Stadium for a photo opportunity in front of the Olympic Rings from the 1936 Games. From there, you will continue on a scenic drive through the Grunewald.
An optional stop (closed on Tuesdays) will be at the Wannsee Villa, the site of the infamous Wannsee Conference of 1942. Then, you will continue across the Glienicke Bridge (the "Bridge of Spies") into Potsdam.
The first stop there will be the New Garden with Cecilienhof, site of the 1945 Potsdam Conference (the museum is currently closed for renovations). Afterward, you will drive through Alexandrowka, a Russian colony, to Sanssouci Park. Enjoy a stroll in the beautiful park with a photo opportunity of the palace.
Later, you will pass through the Baroque Old Town and also the Dutch Quarter, with over 400 well-preserved buildings from the 1740s.
Return to Berlin via the Autobahn.
