Full description This excursion gives you the opportunity to get to know the essence of Tenerife in just one day, fusing culture, history and natural landscapes.

We will start the day visiting Candelaria, a coastal town that is home to the emblematic Basilica of Candelaria, one of the most important places of worship in Tenerife. By the sea, you can admire the imposing bronze statues commemorating the ancient Guanche Kings of Tenerife, immersing yourself in the history and spirituality of the island.

The excursion continues in the Historic-Artistic Site of La Villa de La Orotava. Its cobbled streets will lead us to discover places full of charm and culture such as La Casa de Los Balcones, with its traditional Canarian architecture and courtyards decorated with flowers and plants; the Town Hall Square, surrounded by historic buildings; and the majestic Church of Nuestra Señora de La Concepción, a magnificent example of the island's religious architecture.

We will continue our tour of the north of Tenerife until we reach Garachico, a charming coastal town whose history is marked by a volcanic eruption in 1706. We will stroll through its historic quarter, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, and visit such emblematic places as the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by volcanic lava, and the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress that protected the town from pirate attacks. This walk will allow you to appreciate the resilience and beauty of this picturesque place.

You will have free time to have lunch on your own or taste the rich Canarian gastronomy in one of the local restaurants that we recommend. Try specialities such as papas arrugadas con mojo, gofio and fresh local fish.

After this visit, we will enter the Teno Rural Park, a place of extraordinary natural beauty. Its winding roads will take us to Masca, a hamlet nestled between spectacular cliffs that preserves its traditional Canarian architecture. This hidden corner offers breathtaking panoramic views and a sense of tranquillity that contrasts with the vibrant coastal life.

In Masca, you can explore its narrow streets and enjoy the natural surroundings, which include trails leading down to the beach. This place is perfect for nature lovers and those looking for a little adventure in their day.
