Combine West Maui, Hana and Haleakala. West Maui is home to one of the wettest places in the world. Long waterfalls and vibrant green valleys are trademarks of this incredible volcanic wonderland. Highlights include: the "Wall of Tears" with over 17 waterfalls flowing at once; Maui's tallest waterfall, "Honokohau Falls", with over 1100 feet of drop. See the resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. See Old Lahaina Town with its picturesque historic whaling harbor. Fly over the valleys of Launiupoko, Olowalu and Ukumehame. Fly over downtown Maui, once famous for its sugar cane and pineapple fields.
Ascend the world's largest dormant volcano, "Haleakala" (literally "house of the sun"). Discover its immense lunar crater with pure iron oxide cinder cones rising more than 1,100 feet high. See Kaupo and Ko'olau Gaps, the huge lava flows from the crater to the sea. Hana's nearly uninhabited "back side" is home to the "Seven Pools" and Lindberg's Tomb. The Hana Rainforest stretches over 180 square miles along Maui's north shore and is our nation's largest rainforest. The tour includes views of Old Hana Town, Haleakala National Park, Kipahulu, Ke'anae taro field, fabulous coastal waterfalls and the world famous Ho'okipa windsurfing beach on the way back. Whale watching in season.
