Full description Get ready for a day full of history and majesty as we explore three of the Loire Valley's most impressive châteaux: Blois, Chambord and Cheverny. Meet at the tourist office in Amboise 5 minutes before departure, where you will be met by your driver.

We will depart at 10.00 AM for a 45-minute drive to Blois, following the picturesque road along the banks of the Loire River.

Our first destination will be the majestic Château de Blois, a jewel that offers a breathtaking panorama of Loire Valley architecture from the 13th to the 17th century. This castle, which hosted 10 kings and 7 queens of France, will reveal the secrets of the court and religious wars, including sordid events such as the assassination of the Duke of Guise in the king's flats in 1588.

After our visit to Blois, we will enjoy lunch at your convenience in the medieval quarters of the city.

At 12.45 PM, we will depart for a 30-minute drive to Chambord.

The Château de Chambord will be our next destination, with a 1 hour and 45 minute visit. This is the largest château in the Loire Valley, with 440 rooms, 365 fireplaces, a monumental double helix staircase and 76 secondary staircases. In the middle of a 13,000-acre park surrounded by a 32-kilometre-long wall, this majestic 156-metre-long construction is a symbol of the heyday of the Renaissance.

After Chambord, we will drive for 30 minutes to Cheverny.

The Château de Cheverny will be our last stop, with a 1 hour visit. Built all at once between 1604 and 1634, the classical white stone façade of Cheverny is set in the middle of an exceptional English-style garden. Still inhabited by the same family, this castle is an exception in the Loire Valley thanks to the unity of both its architecture and its rich interior decoration.

After our visit to Cheverny, we will take a 45-minute drive back to Amboise.

We will return to Amboise around 5.15 PM, where your driver will drop you off at the tourist office of Amboise.
