Depart from the heart of Rome (or your centrally located accommodation) at 03:30 p.m., and in a swift 45-minute drive, arrive in Frascati, where our friendly guide will be waiting. Your official tour begins with a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of Frascati. Taste the renowned Frascati roasted pork from the town's oldest bakery ("Porchetta"), sip Frascati wine in a traditional 'Fraschetta,' and engage with local artisans. Explore iconic landmarks such as Villa Aldobrandini, Frascati’s Saint Peter’s Church, the main market plaza, shops, taverns, the Bishop’s Palace, and the 12th-century church St. Rocco.

Following this immersive introduction, a short walk leads you to the Frascati Winery. Accompanied by the vintner, explore the vineyard, learning about grape varieties and pruning systems. Uncover traditional winemaking methods in the 16th-century cellar and discover ancient Roman artifacts in the deep wine cave. After the vineyard tour, savor an enchanting wine tasting featuring three wines – a white Frascati Superiore DOCG, a red Vagnolo wine IGP, and a sweet Cannellino wine. Paired with the vineyard’s olive oil, pizza, unique breads, and seasonal fruits or vegetables, the experience is heightened by the expertise of your licensed wine sommelier guide.

Conclude the winery visit with a leisurely walk back to Frascati’s center for a delightful light dinner at a charming Osteria. Indulge in a mixed platter of Roman cuisine, including ricotta with honey and walnuts, local cheeses, prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, or your choice of traditional Roman pasta. Accompanying the meal is one of the finest wines from the Frascati Winery.

After dinner, around 09:00 p.m., return to Rome by Minivan, arriving at your accommodation around 10:00 p.m. If Frascati has captivated you, anticipate a future return! During the journey back to Rome, feel free to request a specific drop-off location in the city center if you wish.
