Full description Embark on an unforgettable experience with a full-day tour that will take you to explore some of the most fascinating destinations in the Netherlands. The journey begins in Amsterdam, where you will meet your guide and driver at a central meeting point. Aboard a luxury air-conditioned minivan, you'll head to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its 19 historic windmills.

Along the way, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Dutch landscape characterised by fields and canals, giving you a foretaste of the wonders that await you. Arriving at Kinderdijk, you will be greeted by a picturesque setting that reflects the mastery of traditional hydraulic engineering. This site, which was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1997, is a testament to human skill in managing water through dams, mills and pumping stations. At the visitor centre, you will have the opportunity to watch an informative film about the history of the mills and, if possible, visit the inside of a working mill to better understand its operation and historical significance.
