Our journey begins by departing from Las Vegas, heading west and passing by Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam on our way to one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Grand Canyon. We will arrive in the morning and take a native Hualapai shuttle to the first viewpoint, known as Eagle Point. Here, we can enjoy the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass bridge in the shape of a horseshoe that is 4000 feet above the canyon floor and offers a spectacular, one-of-a-kind view of the canyon's west rim. This specially designed bridge will make you feel as if you're floating with its 360-degree view. (Please note that the Skywalk entry fee is included in the package.)
After marveling at the Skywalk, we will have time to visit the small village of the Native American Hualapai tribe and enjoy a delicious lunch (included in the package) at the air-conditioned Skywalk Café.
After Eagle Point, we will continue to Guano Point, where the views are simply magnificent. This unique topography has been featured in numerous Hollywood movies. Here, we can spend time taking in the views or walking along one of the many trails in the area. One of these trails will lead us to the remains of a historic tram that used to transport miners across the abyss to the bat guano mines, which gave this area its name.
After exploring the area, we will return to Guano Point, where we will visit the Hualapai Native Market to purchase handmade art and crafts. We will also have the opportunity to grab a bite at the Guano Point Café, a restaurant with fantastic views, before starting our return to Las Vegas, arriving early in the evening.
