A transport service will pick you up in the morning from your hotel to take you to the town of Chinchero*. This traditional Cusco urban center is special not only for its privileged view of the Sacred Valley landscape but also because its inhabitants preserve the traditions and knowledge inherited from the Incas, reflected in their clothing and craftsmanship. In addition to its cultural legacy, Chinchero features agricultural terraces and its beautiful 17th-century church, built on an ancient Inca palace and considered one of the first Catholic constructions in Peru. Continue your journey through the Sacred Valley towards Ollantaytambo, making a prior stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the landscape before reaching the Living Museum of Yucay. This museum is, in fact, an interpretation center of Andean traditions, with demonstrations of textile work, adobe crafts, pottery, and silverwork using the same ancient Inca techniques. The site is home to alpacas, llamas, and sheep, which you can see up close and even feed. Finally, begin your tour of the town of Ollantaytambo with a delightful lunch. Enjoy the Andean essence that permeates the place by strolling through its streets – still maintaining Inca urban planning and inhabited since then – and climb the iconic fortress, built beside the mountain. After finishing your visit, return to your hotel to rest filled with the Inca spirit. *Sunday visits include the Chinchero market.
DAY 5 | SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (115km – 8 hours)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Ollantaytambo train station to start your adventure to Machu Picchu Pueblo. After arriving at the Aguas Calientes station, our guide will be waiting for you and will accompany you to the bus departure point. Then, you'll take a bus for a 25-minute uphill journey to Machu Picchu, known as the "lost city of the Incas." This archaeological site is believed to have been built in 1450 by Inca Pachacutec as his vacation home. However, a century later, the city was abandoned after the Spanish conquest, escaping the destruction that befell other Inca settlements. During the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the origins of this impressive citadel and explore its most prominent monuments. After completing the tour, you'll take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you'll enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. After lunch, you can explore the charming town and, at the appropriate time, board the return train. The train journey will take an hour and a half, bringing you back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will accompany you back to your hotel in Cusco. *Lunchtime may vary depending on the entrance to the citadel. *Please remember to confirm your reservation as soon as possible to proceed with the purchase of tickets in advance due to the limited capacity of the citadel. Tickets are subject to availability.

Ancient chronicles say its walls were covered in gold leaf and adorned with golden representations of nature. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the Plaza de Armas. Afterward, head to the hills of Cusco where the fortress of Sacsayhuamán is located, whose impressive walls offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Cusco. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex used for religious purposes, where it is believed the Incas practiced rituals related to agriculture.
