We will meet at your accommodation, whether it's a hotel or boat, at the agreed time to start our exploration day in Aswan.
We will begin our journey outside the historical heart of the city, heading towards the impressive Aswan High Dam. This megastructure, built in the 1970s, was erected to protect Egypt from the annual flooding of the Nile, the longest river on the planet.
The next stop will take us to the red granite quarry that was once exploited during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut. Here, stands the Unfinished Obelisk, a monumental project that was intended to become the largest obelisk in Ancient Egypt, with a height of 42 meters and a weight of 1,200 tons.
Leaving the quarry, we will head to the picturesque Agilika Island, located between the two Aswan dams. In this idyllic setting, we will discover the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the revered goddess Isis. This temple is one of the four places where the legend of Isis, Osiris, and Horus comes to life.
After completing our tour, we will transfer you back to the starting point, concluding the experience approximately five hours after the pick-up.
