Coruña is one of the cities with the most leisure activity and bars in Galicia. Located on the Atlantic coast, we will enjoy some examples of Galician cuisine with different and varied tapas. We will visit the old neighborhood of the Pescadería, where the fishing port used to be and which has now become the center of leisure and culture of the city.
We warn you that the tapas are quite large so you probably won't be hungry for dinner!
We will visit the old neighborhood of La Pescadería, where the fishing port was located.
We will start at 19:00 in the afternoon in the famous Plaza del Obelisco. From there we will go to the first tavern, where you will have the opportunity to taste the Albariño or Mencía wine, so famous in Galicia. The tapa will be a surprise, since every day they cook a special one.
Then we will go in search of a place that is very famous for its hoteliers and who have been working in the city for many years and then we will go in search of the famous squid from Coruña and the Padrón Peppers, which, as you know: “some are spicy and others are not”.
We will continue to another place famous for the tapa “Julia's egg”, and we will discover why it is so special.
Finally we will end up in another famous bar famous for the "raxo" styles that they cook. A Galician dish not so famous for its name but that in Galicia is not lacking in any of the famous gastronomic fairs that are celebrated.
